Duddingston Golf Club in Edinburgh has said it is planning to expand its ladies’ section and identify the region’s next elite female golfer.
Club captain Pauline Davie, assistant professional Katie Graham and general manager Niall Watson are eager to welcome both newcomers to the game and seasoned players looking for a dynamic club to call home, and at the heart of the initiative is Duddingston’s commitment to fostering a welcoming, competitive and supportive atmosphere.
To provide top-tier coaching and mentorship, members have direct access to Katie Graham. A professional golfer and former Scotland Women’s international, Katie earned five caps for her country and represented Scotland at The Spirit International Amateur Championship in Texas. Her distinguished amateur career included multiple victories and leading performances in national events, alongside several years competing in collegiate golf in the United States. Having represented Lanarkshire Ladies County Golf for more than a decade, Katie turned professional in October 2025 and is currently completing the first year of her PGA training. She is also an ambassador for the Stephen Gallacher Foundation, supporting the development of junior golf across Scotland.
Niall Watson, general manager of Duddingston Golf Club, said: “We are incredibly proud of the environment we’ve built here at Duddingston, and we want to see our ladies’ section continue to grow. With Pauline’s fantastic leadership as club captain and Katie’s top-tier professional insight, there has never been a better time for women to join the club.
