Equipment hire is also up by 300 percent and pod and lodge bookings by 126 percent since 2019.

“This year is shaping up to be a landmark year for us,” he said.

“Through sustained investment, impressive year-on-year growth and a commitment to regional collaboration, we are strengthening our position!

“In the last three years, we have added over 18 lodge bases and six more pods at Bentham Golf Course. Not only does this create appealing stay-and-play packages, but it also offers individuals an opportunity to invest in a more permanent base in the Yorkshire Dales.

“Maintaining exceptional course conditions is something we take great pride in. This year alone, we have invested in a selection of new machinery, including turf irons, mowers and a Weidenmann. We have also worked with industry experts to improve our tees, drainage and walling, ensuring an enhanced playing experience for members and visitors alike. Alongside these improvements, we have strengthened our clubhouse and pro shop teams to further streamline operations and deliver the best possible experience for our players and members. With this came upgraded facilities such as a new coffee machine, which has already proven popular with visitors!”

The club has also launched the Three Peaks Golf Festival for 2026 – an inaugural three-day, 4BBB (four-ball better ball) competitive golf tournament held in the Yorkshire Dales, from June 29 to July 1. featuring three rounds across Bentham Golf Course, Kirkby Lonsdale Golf Club and Skipton Golf Club, featuring daily prizes and an overall champion.
