LETAS to host the Allegria Golf Resort Stegersbach

·

From May 19 to 23, 2025, the Allegria Golf Resort Stegersbach, nestled in the picturesque South Burgenland region, will host a landmark sporting event: the Allegria Ladies Open 2025.

As part of the Ladies European Tour Access Series (LETAS), this tournament will bring Europe’s top rising female professionals and elite amateur golfers to Austria. With approximately 130 participants, the event serves as a crucial stepping stone to the prestigious Ladies European Tour (LET) and marks the return of women’s professional golf to Austria after more than a decade!

A unique tournament in Austria

The Allegria Resort Stegersbach is honored to host Austria’s only professional women’s golf tournament. Featuring a total purse of €50,000, the event promises thrilling competition and provides a unique opportunity to witness the stars of tomorrow competing for Order of Merit and world ranking points.

Sponsorship with exclusive benefits

The tournament offers businesses a premier sponsorship platform, with opportunities to showcase their brand in an elite sporting environment. A highlight is the Pro/Am tournament on May 20, where amateur players can compete alongside professionals, creating valuable networking and engagement opportunities. Companies can purchase flight units, allowing them to experience an extraordinary day of golf while interacting with participants and guests.

Tournament schedule:

  • Monday, May 19: Practice Day
  • Tuesday, May 20: Pro/Am Tournament – A special event for amateurs and businesses
  • Wednesday & Thursday, May 21–22: Tournament Rounds, with a cut on Thursday evening
  • Friday, May 23: Final Round featuring the week’s best players

The team behind the event

The Allegria Ladies Open is organized by a dedicated team of professionals, led by Astrid Wilfing, the experienced golf manager of Allegria Resort, and Günter Holpfer, whose daughter Isabella Holpfer, a rising professional golfer and club member, has contributed valuable insights to the tournament’s development.

The team also includes Jörg Schober, a hotel consultant and strategic advisor. Their collective vision aims to establish this tournament as a staple in the international golf calendar starting in 2025.

“Bringing a professional women’s golf tournament back to Austria after more than a decade is something I am incredibly proud of. It not only promotes the sport but also inspires future generations of female golfers in the country,” says Isabella Holpfer, LETAS member.

“We are honored to host Austria’s only women’s professional golf tournament and look forward to a successful debut,” adds Marcel Pomper, general manager of Allegria Resort.

The Ladies European Tour Access Series (LETAS) is the official development tour for the Ladies European Tour (LET) and serves as a critical pathway for aspiring female golfers.

The top seven players on the 2025 LETAS Order of Merit will earn full membership for the 2026 Ladies European Tour season, while those finishing 8th to 31st (not otherwise exempt) will advance directly to the final stage of the LET Qualifying School, bypassing the first qualifying stage.
