Jordan Fairweather named new manager of Pravets

·

Jordan Fairweather has been named as the new general manager of Pravets Golf Club in Bulgaria.

Fairweather, whose career began as an irrigation engineer at Loch Lomond Golf Club, was Pravets’ superintendent when the Peter Harradine-designed course opened in 2011. The golf course and state of the art golf academy sit in a picturesque area between Pravets Lake and the Stara Planina Mountains.

Over the last few years he has been involved in numerous large-scale projects through Asia, Europe and the Middle East including the 72 Hole Els Club Malaysia, being responsible for the construction and opening of PGA National Czech Republic and recently managing a portfolio of six clubs across Dubai, Morocco and India for Dubai based real estate developer Emaar properties.

He commented: “It’s great to be back at Pravets and see how the course and destination has matured. Regionally it is the ideal, all-round destination for golf and offers something for everyone. We plan over the next year to enhance the guest and member experience with new benefits and technologies while showcasing our destination to the international golfing community.”
