An expelled member of Dullatur Golf Club in Scotland has been reinstated by one of the most senior judges in the country.
Bobby Innes, who ran the club’s website as a volunteer, was, according to the Daily Record, booted out “following a spat with [the club’s] ex-captain”.
Innes took his club to the Court of Session, the supreme civil court in Scotland, where Judge Lord Uist ordered the expulsion to be lifted on the basis that the club’s disciplinary process was flawed. The club has been ordered to pay Innes’ legal costs.
