Golf industry leaders to appear together
The heads of various UK golf industry bodies will appear together in a ‘Leaders Forum’ in Harrogate in January.
Appearing at GolfBIC will be Sandy Jones, the chief executive officer of the Professional Golfers Association, Nick Pink, the chief executive officer at England Golf, Jim Croxton, the chief executive officer at the British & International Golf Greenkeepers Association, Andrew Lloyd-Skinner the chief executive officer of the UK Golf Course Owners Association and Colin Mayes, the chairman of the UK Golf Course Owners Association
The session will provide a platform for the representatives of the various industry bodies to discuss the current challenges in the UK golf industry and what is being done to support the sustainability of the game. The session will also include a Q&A opportunity for delegates at GolfBIC to ask any questions they have for the panel of leaders.
Other speakers confirmed to take part in the GolfBIC seminar programme are chief executive officer of the National Golf Course Owners Association, Jay Karen and chief executive officer of the European Golf Course Owners Association, Lodewijk Klootwijk.
GolfBIC is the Golf Business and Industry Convention and presented by the UK Golf Course Owners Association and the Organisation of Golf and Range Operators in association with the British and International Golf Greenkeepers Association. The event takes place at Harrogate International Centre on January 17-18, 2017 in conjunction with the BTME show, and is designed to attract golf course owners and operators, secretaries and general managers and other golf club operational staff to learn, network and get inspiration and ideas to help grow their golf club business.
The event also boasts one of the highlights of BTME’s social calendar with a drinks reception taking place on the evening of Tuesday 17th.
